The Hut is a community platform for entrepreneurs, business owners, and builders — profiles, a business directory, events, resources, and a members' dashboard. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Your account
You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. Let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
To keep The Hut useful and safe for everyone, don't:
- Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other members
- Post spam, scams, or misleading business/investment claims
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your business
- Use the platform for anything illegal, or to infringe someone else's rights
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post — your profile, business listing, reviews, resources, and event content. By posting, you give The Hut permission to display it on the platform as part of the normal operation of the service. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to share what you post.
Membership & payments
Paid membership, dues, renewal, and refunds are covered in our Membership Policy.
Investment opportunities & business listings
Opportunities, business listings, and resources are posted by members or admins and are not vetted or endorsed by The Hut. Do your own due diligence before entering into any business or financial arrangement with anyone you meet through the platform.
Disclaimer
The Hut is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it running reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we're not liable for outcomes from connections, opportunities, or advice exchanged on the platform.
Termination
You can stop using The Hut at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put other members at risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the community grows. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date above.
